Trip Part 1

This month we took a week long trip visiting family and friends. We traveled over 2000 miles, crossed 9 states, and made so many memories!! 

We rented a 15-passenger transit van, which was really nice!

Some of the scenery was really beautiful!

Our first stop was at Mom's parents in MO.  It was so nice to see them again and visit with all of Mom's family who live there.

Grandpa took all of us kids on a walk to see the Missouri River! 

We met a friend on the way.😉😆

Grandpa and the guys got out the croquet set and had fun playing a few games.

We got to meet a little cousin for the first time and he really enjoyed hanging out with John.😊❤

It was a joy to see Ms. Eleonore, our adopted great-grandmother.

Lizzy's 2nd Birthday Party

Life Lately

It has been a minute since I've done a blogpost, so I jumped on here and put together some pics from our life recently!

We celebrated Dad's 55th birthday earlier this month.

Told them to smile and this is what I got!😂😂

We started back on our studies last week so that has kept me pretty busy. Sarah finished her studies earlier this year so I'm doing it solo, which is a new experience!😉

John went to Louisiana last week to help with the storm damage there. There is a ministry called Eight Days of Hope that goes around whenever a storm hits to help clean up.

Happy Birthday, Dad!

Today is Dad's 55th birthday!! Dad stays pretty busy with the mowing business, mower shop, and being a pastor. He is a strong godly leader in our family and nobody could ask for a better dad!❤

Random Life with the Silveys!

Well, summer is almost gone! Which will be nice after the HOT temperatures we have been having.😑This last week we planted a fall crop of green beans and peas, which I sadly failed to capture with the phone. 📸🙈 But hopefully they will produce well and we'll have lots of homegrown green beans for this winter!  So anyway...sit back and enjoy this (very random) random life post!!

Mom, Sarah, and I went to town and ran a few errands one day.

Sarah has been keeping busy working on some t-shirt quilts she got an order for!
