Life Lately...

Meet Boone, our new puppy that we got on New's Year Day.  He was only six weeks at the time so we have had fun training him and watching him grow up!

For the past two weeks it has been raining, raining, and RAINING!  A rainy Saturday always calls for a game, so this particular day we played Scotland Yard.  

Jacob and Grace have spent most afternoons boating on our small pond in the boats Jacob made.

All the rain we have gotten created this beautiful, roaring waterfall!

 We set up some of our mics and had fun singing and making memories together! 

Traveling in the car together can be so much fun sometimes.😊

So proud of our brother Will at his pinning ceremony for being promoted to Lieutenant at the El Dorado Fire Department. 

Brittany pinned on his badge and Dad and Mom had the honor of putting on his lapel pins.

Here we are on our way to Dodson, Louisiana to see the Bontrager family in concert!

We enjoyed the Louisiana scenery on the drive down.  Everything was so lush and green from the rain.

With our van not running right now, we take two vehicles when the whole family goes somewhere- Jared's truck and the car.  We usually take turns switching off who gets to ride where...some prefer the car and others the truck, so that works well.😊 

The Bontragers have such amazing talent and we were thrilled to get to meet them in person!

SNOW!!!

We kids were very excited when we woke up Tuesday morning and there was a couple of inches of snow on the ground!!   We wasted no time getting outside and had lots of fun being out in the snow!

Amanda got some beautiful pictures of the scenery!

Tigger wasn't  thrilled about the snow and how cold it was, so he stayed wrapped in a cozy blanket!

We had fun giving/getting sled rides!

This was his first time to experience snow and he had the time of his life playing in it!

And of course we had to make a snowman, even though he was just a little thing!!  We would've made a huge one, but the snow was powdery and it wouldn't pack together.

Grace and I took a break from the outside and we enjoyed drinking hot chocolate as we warmed up!

Later, we went back out, and we discovered that Lucas LOVES being pulled around on the sled!  He would get on the sled and just stand there until someone started pulling him. 😆

John gave everybody a ride.
