Happy Birthday Jacob!

Happy birthday to King David's mighty man, who killed a lion in the midst of a pit on a snowy day...  Oh wait, this is Jacob's birthday! 😉 But, we are talking about the same kind of courage, strength, integrity, and love for the Lord that those men of old had. Jacob has a passion for the outdoors and has really excelled in his archery, hunting, and taxidermy skills this year!

This is Jacob's new hunting dog in training! He got Bear in April, and he is a very fast learner and can already follow blood trails and obey numerous commands.

Happy Birthday Grace!

Another birthday is in the books for Grace, and she is now the ripe old age of 17! 

Diligent. Hardworking. Passionate. Energetic. Fun. Those are just a few words to describe Grace, and she is an inspiration as she prioritizes memorizing Scripture, does her studies with excellence, spends hours playing the piano and singing, does the laundry every day, and many other things. If something needs to be done, she doesn't hesitate to jump in and do it!

Grace enjoyed a surprise visit and lunch with a friend while she recovered from some recent neck issues she's been having. 

We had fun celebrating Grace's birthday with a few of her favorite movies.

Happy Birthday John!

We are thankful to celebrate another year of John's life!! He blesses many by his hard work, crazy humor, encouragement, and love for the Lord. John stays very busy, as you'll be able to tell by the recap of his year.  Don't forget to leave him a happy birthday comment below!

A big highlight for John was going to the Equip Expo in Kentucky last October. He enjoyed getting to hang out with new friends and meet a few of the lawn care guys who he watches on YouTube. 

He enjoyed getting to meet Paul Jamison from Green Industry Podcast.

He loves to make those stripes! 

John added a new mower to Silvey Lawncare this year- a Scag Vride ll. 

John has also enjoyed working part-time for our former state senator in his propane business. He got to drive the boss's truck one day. 😉

John traveled to Mississippi earlier this year to help clean up storm damage with a disaster relief ministry, Eight Days of Hope.

John has worked on several mechanic projects this year, and one of those was a car he bought to fix up and resell. We've enjoyed having another vehicle for roadtrips, temporarily. 😁
